Raz & Sunita’s Leeds Town Hall Wedding & Lemon-Themed Celebration

Some weddings are big and elaborate, and some are simply about being together with the people you love. Raz and Sunita’s wedding was one of those days.Starting at the beautiful Leeds Town Hall before heading to Leeds Lost & Found for a family celebration, their day was full of warmth, laughter and those lovely little moments that make a wedding so memorable. It was sweet, simple and completely about celebrating with the people closest to them.

A beautiful start at Leeds Town Hall

There’s something special about getting married somewhere with so much history and character. Leeds Town Hall provided the perfect setting for Raz and Sunita to say their vows, with its beautiful architecture creating a timeless backdrop for the photographs. But as beautiful as the surroundings were, it was the people and the emotion that really stood out. The little glances. The smiles. The excitement. The feeling of everyone being there to celebrate Raz and Sunita. These are the moments I love photographing most.

A family celebration at Leeds Lost & Found

After the ceremony, the celebrations continued at Leeds Lost & Found, where Raz and Sunita brought their family together for a relaxed celebration. It wasn't about putting on a huge production. It was about good food, happy memories, laughter and spending time together. And I think that's what made it so lovely. There was such a genuine sense of happiness throughout the day, the kind that comes from having all your favourite people in one place.

A little lemon twist

And then there were the lemons.I absolutely loved the sweet lemon theme running through the celebration. It was such a lovely little detail and added a touch of colour and personality to the day without taking over.Sometimes it's those small details that make a wedding feel completely personal. A colour you love. A favourite flower. A little nod to something meaningful. Or, in Raz and Sunita's case, a whole lot of lemons. It was cheerful, fun and perfectly suited to the relaxed feeling of the day.

The moments in between
As always, some of my favourite photographs weren't the ones where everyone was looking at the camera. They were the moments in between. A laugh shared between family members. Someone catching up with someone they hadn't seen for ages. A little look between Raz and Sunita. The smiles that happen when everyone has relaxed and forgotten about the camera. These are the photographs that I think become even more precious with time. Because when you look back at them years from now, you don't just see a photograph. You remember exactly who was there. How everyone felt. What was happening around you. And, hopefully, you can almost hear the laughter again.

A day full of happy memories
What I loved about Raz and Sunita's wedding was how uncomplicated it felt. A beautiful ceremony at Leeds Town Hall, followed by a family celebration, surrounded by the people who mattered most. No need for anything overly complicated. Just two people getting married and a room full of people who were genuinely happy to celebrate with them. And honestly, I think that's what weddings are all about. The memories you make together. The people you share them with. The little details that make the day yours. And all those tiny moments that you'll still be talking about years from now. Raz and Sunita's day was full of them.
